On October 29, RALI Minnesota and our partners will recognize the U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
Take Back Day serves as an important reminder: take this time to clean out your medicine cabinets and learn how you can safely rid your home of unused prescriptions to help end the deadly cycle of addiction.
Minnesotans can find a prescription drug take back event near them by visiting the DEA’s Site Locater. In addition to police stations hosting take back events, the Federal Executive Board of Minnesota will have a collection site in the main foyer of the Bishop Henry Whipple Building on October 28th from 10AM to 2PM. For year-round home disposal The Minnesota Grocers Association is providing free disposal pouches as part of their effort to raise awareness about proper medication disposal.
